Tras las primeras pruebas en 1989, mezclando técnicas de óleo con emulsión liquida fotográfica en diversos soportes, y más adelante con fotocopias transferibles a la tela por presión y calor, llegó el momento de la impresión digital sobre lienzo, madera, aluminio, hierro, cemento, cartón, etc. en la que trabajo en la actualidad. Hasta hoy en día ha sido un camino con satisfacciones y también limitaciones, como los tamaños de fotocopia para transferencia a tela de máximo A3, la emulsión líquida solo en blanco y negro, la busqueda de productos para que al barnizar la obra no hubiera diferencia entre lo transferido y lo pintado, poder dar relieve a los trazos de pintura impresos digitalmente, etc., pero en la actualidad se diría que la técnica ofrece un buen resultado, así como un interesante camino para las bellas artes. 

Following the first trials in 1989, mixing oil techniques with photographic liquid emulsion over several surfaces, and later on with transferable photostats to fabric aided by heat and pressure, I arrived at digital impression on canvas, wood, aluminium, iron, cement, cardboard etc, all which I use today. To date it’s been a journey of both achievements and limitations such as the maximum photostats A3 size for transfer to fabric, the liquid emulsion only available in black and white, the search of products such that after varnishing there was no noticeable difference between the transfered and the painted elements, give relief to the digitally printed brush strokes etc. Today the technique delivers the right outcome, and an interesting development for the arts.
